Seeing is creating

Yesterday I found an amazing piece of unintended decollage art on a billboard at Bremen central station. So much to discover when you zoom into the picture! I love the flames and explosions on the left, but also the raven king in his ermine cape on the right.

49,000 chicks die in Leipzig airplane fire.

An Antonov airplane belonging to a Ukrainian air carrier transporting live chicks burnt down at the airport of Leipzig, Germany, overnight to Friday. Media reported that the fire broke out, when the engines were switched on. All 49,000 chicks died. I wonder: Why are they shipping live chicks from Germany to Russia? Apart from the emotional factor: Does that mean that incubating eggs is cheaper in Germany than in Russia? Does that mean raising chickens is cheaper in Russia than in Germany? Even if you have to buy them a return ticket? And what's the regular body count aboard Ukrainian transport planes? Is 50% still profitable in the chicken business?

Is this the proof that ...

... bees are so smart they can read symbols – or that they're so stupid they blindly follow any instruction they're given?
